Air Fryer Lemon Herb Salmon Fillets

Create perfectly flaky, moist salmon with a bright, fresh flavor and a lightly crisp top in no time

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juice of half, half sliced for topping)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (dill, oregano, or Italian seasoning)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    • Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes. Once the Oven get Hot with required temperature check with a thermometer to make sure.
    • Season Salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry. Rub them with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and dried herbs. the more you rub, the better the seasoning penetrate the fillets.
    • Air Fry: Place salmon in the basket, skin-side down if applicable. Top with a few thin lemon slices.
    • Cook: Air fry for 6-9 minutes (time depends on thickness). The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
    • Serve: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving. It will enhance the the flavors

Notes

  • Don't Overcook: Salmon cooks very quickly. Check it early to keep it from drying out.
  • Uniform Thickness: Choose fillets of similar thickness for even cooking.
  • No Preheating? If your air fryer doesn't preheat, add 1-2 minutes to the cook time.
  • keep in mind the right Temperatures are the key. always check the Temperature of the oil or fryer.
